Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A systematic joint network and channel coding scheme over multiple-access relay channel is proposed. In the network with two sources, one relay and one destination, a network LDPC code which permits joint network and channel coding is designed. For the design, a generalized Gaussian approximation algorithm (GGAA) is derived to predict the performance of the network LDPC code. Based on GGAA, an optimization algorithm is developed to search the degree distribution of the network LDPC code. Simulations show that the system with the network LDPC code holds a performance gap less than 0.6dB from the threshold determined by GGAA at BER of 10e-5. A performance gain of about 0.3dB can be obtained, compared with the XOR network coding scheme.
