Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Low roll-off factor of 0.1 was adopted in the advanced satellite broadcasting system. This adoption aims to increase transmission capacity under the regulated occupied bandwidth (below 34.5MHz). We can expect to increase more transmission capacity using lower roll-off factor by the future development of the digital hardware technique. In this paper, we report results of transmission experiment using channel simulator to show the relationship between symbol rate and transmission performance on satellite transmission system. |
