Abstract(in English) | We previously reported UV induced visible light luminescence in artificial-lattice thin films of ion doped silica glass (silica superstructure thin films). This report presents fabrication technique of optical-waveguide superstructure thin films on Si, SiO_2 and LiNbO_3 substrates. UV induced luminescence and optical-amplification at 405nm were observed in the waveguides fabricated on Si substrates. |
