Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) FTTH services have been growing rapidly. We have developed an optical-fiber distribution system using an IDM. However, the changing FTTH environment means we need further efficiency and cost-effectiveness for network construction and operation work. This paper proposes an architecture design of optical-fiber distribution management system using RFID, automatic navigation technology and DB for the IDM. It realizes reducing working time, less skilled work and eliminating human error. In this paper, we describe optimized work flows for installation.
