Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an effective method for sharing personal voice memos using 3D auditory space. We have proposed an intuitive framework to record and browse numerous personal voice memos using the user's head directions to post voice memos in user-relative auditory directions for each utterance. The user defines the sharing attribute of each voice memo in the edit-mode so that the personal and public voice memos are appropriately shared with the permitted users. The shared spaces, that are hemispherical auditory balloons, are just overlapped or arranged in separated angle by the number of the sharing users. In order to facilitate a sharing method of the personal auditory spaces with numerous voice memos without confusion, not only the characters of speech voices but also the characterized symbolic sounds (auditory-icons) are employed to represent the memos in the auditory memo space.
