Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a direct-sequence code-division multiple-acess system, information symbol waveforms are spread by the signature code sequence assigned to each user. On the contrary, in the chip-interleaved, block spread code division multiple access (CBS-CDMA) system, the signature waveforms are spread by the information symbols. One of the properties is that CBS can be designed to have the guard intervals between information symbol blocks so as to eliminate the interblock interference comparing the conventional DS-CDMA. In the presence of frequency-selective fading, the performance of a synchronous CBS-CDMA with using space-time block coding is analyzed. We use the cyclic-prefix on the guard intervals. The zero-forcing (ZF) and minimum mean square error (MMSE) detectors are used for decoding the information data. The bit error rate performances are provided with ZF and MMSE detectors, and the computer simulation confirm that the MMSE detector presents slightly better results than those by ZF detector.
