Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, integer discrete cosine transform type-IIs (IntDCT-IIs) with lifting structure have been researched for lossless-to-lossy image coding. Although the almost conventional IntDCT-IIs have only 8 channel, lifting factorizations for arbitrary block size M are needed for some applications. On the other hand, some M-channel lifting factorizations of discrete cosine transform type-IV (DCT-IV) have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a novel M-channel IntDCT-II by using block pararell system, the relationship between DCT-II and IV and M-channel integer DCT-IV (IntDCT-IV). Then its validity is proved by showing the results of lossless-to-lossy image coding.
