Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rhythmic component extraction is a method for extracting a component that has the most energy in a spefific range of frequency, by the weighted sum of channel signals. The batch and adaptive algorithms of RCE has been developed so far, and it is reported that the RCE works efficiently in the application to brain signal analysis such as brain computer interface (BCI). In this paper, we develop a fast algorithm of RCE which is necessary for the implementation of BCI online. This algorithm is on the basis of the removal of redundancy which appears when slide-windowing of the signal. It is shown that the computational cost is reduced by this algorithm.
