Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A design method of 2-D separable-denominator IIR filters based on weighted LS approximation is proposed in this paper. Many kinds of 2-D separable-denominator IIR filter design methods based on LS approximation have been proposed. However, the LS-based design methods are not suitable for designing notch filter or beamformer for interference suppression, because those filters often pay attention to the characteristics in specific frequency bands. LS-based methods optimize the whole characteristics but do not optimize the characteristics in specific domain. In this paper, we employ weighted LS-based optimization for IIR filter design in order to well approximate the characteristics in specific frequency bands. Performance of the present method is evaluated through some computer simulation.
