Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a chunk based power allocation (PA) and subcarrier mapping (SCM) method for dual-hop non-regenerative OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) relay systems. The proposed method can reduce the amount of side information e.g. CSI (Channel State Information) and allocated power in comparison with the conventional method. To maximize the achievable rate, we solve optimization problems of optimal PA and SCM to each chunk of source and relay nodes. Numerical results indicate that the proposed method is particularly effective when chunk size is appropriate for the frequency correlations among subcarriers.
