Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are many counterfeit moneys and imitations recently. Some certification seals had been reported that certifies the authenticity of articles. The seals were achieved through the use of biometrics technology and PKI. The unique pattern (fingerprint) of those seals, however were not strong enough against high level printing technology or difficult to be verified. In order to improve those points, random patterns of small pieces of polarized film was applied as the fingerprint. And the difference of picture data through two orthogonal oriented analyzers was used for the feature vector.
