Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In ISEC March 2009, we reported that there are less security gap against the low-density attack between the double-sequence knapsack PKC and the single-sequence knapsack PKC which use a super-increasing sequence as the trapdoor. In this paper, we study on the security gap against the low-density attack between the double-sequence knapsack PKC and the single-sequence knapsack PKC when using a super-increasing sequence and shifted-odd sequence as the trapdoor, respectively. Moreover, we study on the security gap between the double-sequence knapsack PKC and the single-sequence knapsack PKC when using two types of constructions of the secret key.
