Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) By observing the end to end argument to actively notify terminals on the existence and configuration of NAT and to let terminals complement NAT function such as reversing address translation by gateways, end to end transparent, complete and correct NAT is designed and implemented. End to end NAT works with various existing Internet protocols such as IPSEC, DNS reverse look up, multicast and mobility without or with minimum modifications on the protocols. End to end NAT solves the IP address exhaustion problem and makes transition to IPv6 unnecessary.
