| 抄録(和) | 近年,バリアフリーやユニバーサルデザインといった言葉が注目を集めており,障害者向けの社会インフラの構築が急務となっている.本稿では,携帯電話のBluetooth機能を用いて屋内環境向けに視覚障害者の歩行支援を行うナビゲーションシステムを提案し,その動作の検証を行う.さらに,点字ブロック上を移動する利用者の歩行支援を行うために必須である利用者の位置検出精度に関して,従来手法と提案手法の比較検討を行う.携帯電話上で実装したアプリケーションを用いて動作実験を行い,提案する位置検出手法の有効性を示し,検出誤り事象の原因を解析する.この解析から今後の提案システムの改善方向を議論する. |
| 抄録(英) | The concern with barrier-free and universal design in society has been growing. It is necessary to create a social infrastructure for handicapped people. In this paper, we propose a novel walking supporting system for the visually-impaired persons using cellular phone with Bluetooth function and investigate its performance. We propose a new algorithm to detect the location of the user on braille blocks for supporting them and compare it with the conventional one. We carry out some experiments using our application on the cellular phone and show an availability of the proposed algorithm. Moreover, we discuss problems caused by our system and indicate methods to improve it. |
