Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The present study considers what action researchers can do about practical problems that can't be solved easily from our action research in Niigata Chuetsu earthquake. As cases, the authors showed two discourses 'There is no water' and 'There is no bride' in Kizawa village at Kawaguchi town which had the epicenter of the earthquake. In discussion, the authors indicated the gap between 'the verbalized levels' and 'the physical levels' in those discourses and concluded that roles of action researchers were exposing 'the physical levels' that persons concerned couldn't verbalize.
