Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The center wavelength of a soliton pulse shifts toward longer wavelength as it propagates in a photonic crystal fiber. Because of this property, the soliton pulse is expected to be useful as a wavelength-tunable light source and as a quasi super-continuum light source. In this paper, the properties of the soliton pulse were measured and compared with calculations. Also its application in coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering spectroscopy is mentioned.
