Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When additional optical cables have been installed into existing MDUs, an optical indoor cable with the good workability of push-pull installing in a conduit line is in the great demand. In this paper, we report the newly developed optical indoor cable with downsized outer dimension, lower friction and optimized bending rigidity and a new cable holding block that can allow the indoor cable to assemble with existing field assembly optical connectors.
