Abstract(in English) The tapered fiber with graded refractive index profile in a light propagation direction to realize a low loss waveguide against to the high power laser beam launched is proposed and discussed. Calculated results by the beam propagation method show the 2.5dB loss improved with the relative index difference of 3.74% between input and output facets of the tapered fiber with the nonlinear core diameters from 400μm to 200μm.
