Abstract(in English) We proposed and fabricated a tunable filter using Si-waveguide multiple-cavity Fabry-Perot resonators with ferroelectric liquid crystal cladding. We theoretically analyzed spectral characteristics of the proposed device with F-matrix method and effective index method. An improvement of resonance wavelength characteristics and a wavelength tuning operation were obtained in the fabricated devices.
