Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Automated and optimized establishment of dynamic optical paths over all-optical networks requires route computing considering chromatic dispersion constraints so that dispersion can be sufficiently compensated by appropriate dynamic compensation technology. This paper discusses advertised parameters to precisely represent chromatic dispersion for such route computing. It proposes compressed forms to represent chromatic dispersion in advertised parameters, because they consume not only advertisement bandwidth but also memory space for link state database.
