Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wideband InterNetworking engineering test and Demonstration Satellite (WINDS) has such features as transmitting and receiving high performance by MBA and MPA of Ka-band, wideband satellite communication by the small user terminals, and short Round Trip Time. Using these features, we transported the small user terminals to the disaster area and perform experiment for verifying availability and feasibility in natural disaster. This paper describes results of the experiments to verify high-speed satellite communication system in natural disaster.
