| Abstract(in English) | Recently, there are many discussions about mechanisms to provide QoS for IP communication. Especially in ITU-T and ETSI, Next Generation Network (NGN) has been discussed, there are many reports to provide QoS for real-time services using RTP. However, in the current Internet, TCP is a major transport-layer protocol, real-time services using TCP is also appears. In general, packet policing is a one the effective methods to provide QoS for flows. In this paer, we present performance evaluation of TCP under packet policing which is aimed at entrance restriction of a netowrk. |
