Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is adopted in IEEE802.11a/g wireless LAN standard. Since synchronization errors of OFDM reception timing cause inter symbol interference (ISI) and deteriorate communication property, high accuracy timing synchronization is required. Conventional methods in timing synchronization of MIMO-OFDM calculate autocorrelation by coarse and fine synchronizations in the two stages, however low occurrence, packets cause synchronization errors. The proposed method detect and corrects synchronization errors and can improve synchronization performance by use of difference decision. The Simulation in MIMO-OFDM communication shows characteristics of synchronization error distribution and PER comparing conventional and proposed method.
