Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we examined the unified control of avatar's motions based on conversation activity from voice information between users in avatar mediated online communication system. We controlled the magnitude and speed of avatar's nod, smile, baton and gaze to express the activity. The evaluation experiments revealed that the united control of the magnitude and the speed of the motions based on the conversation activity gives more natural impression to the users.
