Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes electronic medical chart storing system for acupuncture by using pen-input. Most people with acquired visual disabilities in Japan are eager to be occupationally independent through obtainment of licenses to perform services such as massage, acupuncture, and moxibustion. They are enrolled in "Rieyo" training courses and receive special education for three or five years at five national institutions. An important obstacle to their "Riryo" training is reading and writing method. Especially it is difficult for middle-aged or elderly persons with visual disabilities. We confirmed the effectiveness of this system from the beginner's experiment results.
