Complex associations between sensation seeking style and visual attention system

Abstract(in English) Personality traits are one such factor that may affect cognitive functions. The purpose of this study is to determine the associations between Sensation Seeking Style (SSS) and visual attention system. There were no any evidences that high sensation seeker made better performances in the bottom-up attention system, however, there were complex associations between sex differences, SSS, and attention system. These associations indicated that female high SSS group showed higher attentional capture and lower Inhibition of return. The results in this study are congruent with previous study. Sex differences is the key factor shaping the association between SSS and attention system.
