Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The main issue addressed in this paper is how to augment knowledge obtained from trip experience. Our approach to this issue is to provide travelers with awareness of information after their trip, which has not been obtained during the trip and which is unknown to them, and to augment their experiential knowledge with the UA information. This paper demonstrates a trip experience augmentation system, which automatically generates a Web album with the map showing the trip route followed and locating the photos taken during the trip from the trip log made by means of GPS and digital camera. This system also appropriately extracts UA information related to the trip log from the Web to present it in the user interface. Such UA information allowed users to augment their knowledge obtained from their trip.
