Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently it has become to use cryptography for data security. Various types of data that individuals have in each computer (personal data) are usually encrypted. The encrypted personal data cannot be accessed by anyone else their owner. In the contingency that the owner is not able to access the data, it should interfere with both the bereaved and business partners. Therefore, an escrow system is necessary to consign access right to a third person previously nominated when the incident has happened. Here, we have proposed key escrow method of personal master access key by using elliptic curve calculation. Furthermore, the key escrow method for the case of personal data administrated by the other person or organization is also shown.
