Analysis of urgent message reading by deaf people in Listed-Sign language format

Abstract(in English) The importance of accessible information presentations in the public space has been recognized in recent days. In this paper, the experiment to transmit the message, which was to present train operation information such as vehicle accidents in railway vehicle, to the hearing impaired was conducted. In the information presentation Japanese Text (JT) and Japanese Sign Language (JSL) video image were fragmented, respectively, and shown simultaneously. The result of the experiments proved that deaf people could read urgent information without anxiety.
