| 抄録(英) | Pupil diameter changes with psychological state and with brightness of visual stimulus. The property of the interaction between the two functions is not clearly known. In this research, we manipulated the psychological state of the observers using auditory stimuli under various brightness conditions and measured the diameter of pupil to investigate the interaction of the effects of psychological state and of brightness on pupil diameter. The results show that mean pupil diameter increased as the task became more difficult under low brightness level but that pupil diameter was almost unchanged by the difficulty of the task under the high brightness level. |
