A Study on SDH/OTN Integrated Network Management Method

Abstract(in English) To expand the service with high quality, the backbone network that mainly consists of the OTN layer network, ROADM and so on, is being constructed. Moreover, the SDH layer net is also concomitant as the transmission technology that supports the PSTN service in existence. This paper describes an efficient management method for the OTN and SDH integrated network. It proposes layer boundary section information that focused on the connection terminal point function on the OTN layer. It reports the management method for full superimposed OTN/SDH network.
