Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the simulation results on AODV (Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector) with transmission power control in technical committee of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, "Development of Technical Examination Services Concerning Frequency Crowding," are shown. The committee are working on realization of maritime ad-hoc networks, and considering AODV with transmission power control since AODV is suitable for narrowband networks due to small overhead. Transmission power control is expected to reuse spatial resource efficiently by controlling a radio transmission range. As a result, more amount of simultaneous communications can be achieved. Simulation results show 5.6% and 29% increase of throughput on a random nodes scenario and a group nodes scenario.
