Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In speech spectral analysis method, there are methods based on second statistics and third statistics to improve robustness for noise. In noisy environment, we evaluate methods based on second or third statistics in estimation of formants accuracy especially for first, second, or third formant. In this paper, we evaluate the estimation method based on cross correlation function and based on third order cumulant. We compare estimation error of the estimated formants in the methods, and show that the method based on cross correlation function is superior to other methods under the condition of the limited number of observation data.
