Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed Photonastic Surface, a novel pin matrix type 3D form display. In Photonastic Surface, the height of pins are independently controlled with light information. In this paper, we propose a new system for Photonastic Surface. In the new system, Photonastic Surface can express volume information effectively and intuitively by overlapping images from PVLC projector which we have developed. We made the prototype which consists of 8×8 pin matrix, and implemented some applications.
