Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new method of displaying 3D objects in free space has been developed, which is based on laser-plasma scanning technologies. In order to extend the potential applicability of the system, this paper gives a basic study on how to handle Japanese character strings as point-cloud content. For this purpose, the hardware characteristics are considered to design a specialized tool for displaying Japanese character strings in free space.
