抄録(英) | This paper summarizes our effort in the past few years on the development of the multilevel Green's function interpolation approach that allows us to analyze large-scale electromagnetic problems ranging from low-frequency applications in RFICs to full-wave scattering from microstrip reflectarrays to periodic and aperiodic photonic bandgap structures. For low-frequency and periodic structures, both the computation time and computer memory requirement scale as O(N). For full-wave EM scattering problems, the computation time scales between O(N) and O(N log N) while the computer memory requirement remains O(N). Green's functions for layered medium, homogenous medium using surface-integral equation, free-space using volumetric-integral equation, and periodic structures have been successfully employed for various applications. Non-uniform partitioning of the problem domain and parallel computation methods have also been utilized to further enhance the computational efficiency of the developed method. |
