Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a number of digital terrestrial broadcasting stations have constructed and started to transmit broadcasting wave, it becomes a serious problem of reception errors in spite of high receiving power. Although we had developed a interference canceller for broadcast-wave relay stations, an adaptive array is desirable to be more simple, robust and more computationally efficient as a receiver for the service area. In this report, we introduce the MMSE adaptive array for fixed reception of ISDB-T. The proposed algorithm uses time domain pre-FFT combiner and the frequency domain post-FFT one-tap equalizer. To optimize the weights for time domain combiner, we use the re-modulated time domain signals with channel distortion as a reference signal. Simulation results show the robustness against the severe receiving environment of the proposed scheme.
