Abstract(in English) In this research, it has aimed at the visually handicapped person's walking support according to detection information from the USB camera and the range sensor. The carry case where the USB camera and the range sensor were installed when walking is pushed, and the system is report in the visually handicapped person because of the sound of the speaker as for information such as the area where he can walk, differences, and obstacles. It achieves it in the distinction whether it is an area where he can walk by doing the image recognition of clustering to the input image from the camera, and using detection information from the range sensor for the recognition such as differences and obstacles.
