Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In RF MIMO fading simulator which MIMO propagation models, one issue is the IQ imbalance of the modulator and demodulator due to component imperfections. In this paper, proposed IQ imbalance compensation of the modulator and demodulator is mainly targeting the simulator. The method can estimate IQ imbalance by connecting the modulator and demodulator directly with RF cable via a phase shifter. Then the IQ imbalance parameters can be estimated analytically by using feedback signals with two different phase rotations. Validity of the proposed scheme is confirmed by an experiment using the RF MIMO fading simulator hardware.
