| 抄録(和) | 直接拡散方式(DS/SS)を用いた通信方式では,信号対雑音比(SNR)を改善するために,Fractional Samplingを用いたRAKE受信機が提案されている.しかし,サンプリングレートを増加させると受信機の信号処理速度が上がり,消費電力が高くなってしまう.問題となる消費電力を抑えるために,チャネルの状態に応じて適切なサンプリングレートおよびRAKE受信機のタップ位置を選択する方式が提案されている.しかし,実験的に検討を行った報告はない.そこで本報告では,IEEE802.11bにおけるFractional Samplingを用いたRAKE受信機のためのサンプリングレート選択の特性を,実験的に評価する.実験結果より,誤り率(BER)を劣化させることなく消費電力を低減できることが分かった. |
| 抄録(英) | In a Direct-Sequence/Spread-Spectrum (DS/SS) system, a RAKE receiver with fractional sampling is used to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). However, the power consumption of the RAKE receiver increases in proportion to the sampling rate. In order to reduce the power consumption, sampling rate selection schemes hava been proposed to select the tap positions of the RAKE receiver and the sampling rate depending on the channel conditions. In this report, the sampling rate selection for fractional sampling in IEEE802.11b WLAN system is investigated through an experiment since there have been no numerical results through an experiment. Numerical results show that the power consumption can be reduced by the sampling rate selection schemes without the degradation of the bit error rate (BER). |
