Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The improvement method of quantization dynamic-range for wideband digital radio receivers is proposed and its performance is investigated by computer simulations. This method estimates the undesired signals that existed in the frequencies other than the desired signal and removes it from the analog signal before quantization. The estimation of the undesired signals is performed by quantizing with another analog-to-digital converter, removing the desired signal from FFT output, and restituting with an IFFT and a digital-to-analog converter. This estimation is not required high resolution analog-to-digital converter because it is used for undesired signals and it is shown that quantization noise does not affect desired signal.
