Abstract(in English) Information systems in a university need inter-cooperation mechanisms and their portal sites. This requires single-sign-on infrastructure. We examine to use Opengate, which was developed as a network user authentication system in Saga University, as one of entrances for such portal sites. With this method, a student, who connects his terminal to a network, is lead to portal sites for students. The current status of the development and its problems are reported.
