Abstract(in English) Many of buildings are composed of not a single floor but two or more floors, and the elevator is equipped, and the environment to which the wheelchair user can easily move between floors is in order. However, many of researches on the wheelchair have targeted moving in a single floor. To use the wheelchair in a real environment, it is one of the important capabilities to move between floors. Then, this paper develops the voice activated wheelchair that can get on and off the elevator by using sensor information equipped with the system, and move another floor by using elevator. Several experiments, the robust evaluation experiment at the riding position, the getting on and off experiment of the elevator, and the moving experiment including the movement between floors, were carried out by using an actual elevator, and the effectiveness of the proposal system is evaluated.
