Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A navigation system should provide route information corresponding to the user's position & direction, howeve, it is not possible in some areas, such as in underground, building, station or airport, etc. In order to navigate the user without any mistakes in anywhere, we've considered the system which provides information considering the complexity of intersections, so that the user can confirm between their position & direction and the route by themselves. To evaluate route information, we've focused on the relationships between all intersections on the route. We introduce a new definition "Unit Intersection" and two hypotheses concerning the complexity of the intersections and the route. We propose a new navigation system which provides a part of route information, which is split appropriately from the whole route, at adequate time.
