Abstract(in English) In this paper, safety performance evaluation of a VII (Vehicle Infrastructure Integration) driving assistance systems by a microscopic traffic simulator. A VII driving assistance system model (collision warning) is implemented to a microscopic traffic simulator. Then the safety performance is evaluated to a system penetration rate. The result is compared to a sensor-based system and an inter-vehicle communication-based system. Then we have been brought up that a VII driving assistance system is superior to other systems.
