Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Internet has become an inevitable infrastructure for the society; however, it has become very difficult to add and modify its functions due to the fact that its original design was out-of-date. There is a consensus among network researchers that the Internet architecture should be re-designed from the scratch. Recently, a number of future Internet architectures have been proposed mainly in the FIND (Future INternet Design) initiative of the U.S. In this report, the author summarizes several important architecture proposals of the initiative and then describes what problems we should tackle in the future.
