Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is pointed out that color films are organic devices with single-crystalline monomolecular layers of J-aggregated dyes as photo-sensors of organic photoconductors and tabular silver halide grains as substrates. For references to organic semiconductors, analyses and explanations are made on the molecular arrangement in dye layers, influence of dye layers on structure and physical property of substrates, electronic structure of interfaces between dye layers and substrates, migration and dissociation of excitons in dye layers, behaviors of charge carriers thus generated, and manufacturing processes for dye layers by adsorption and color films by coating.
