Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In Cognitive radio system, a mobile station senses the usage of channel communication resources and thus specifies the vacant resource and then uses it for constructing the data communication. In addition, the collaboration system between the cognitive radio and the multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) has been considered for the frequency spectrum sharing between the licensed user (Primary-user) and the temporal one (Secondary-user). When a secondary user tries to joint the system, the information about the number of parallel symbols transmitted by primary user is available for suppressing the co-channel interference and thus constructing the new orthogonal channel. In this paper, the novel technique for specifying the Tx number selected by the primary user is proposed. In the proposed technique, the particular point derived from the detected signal is detected. After that, for classifying the derived particular point, the Support Vector Machine (SVM), which is one of the most elegant learning models, is used. From the computer simulation, we clarify the effects of the proposed technique and the needed condition for achieving high accurate recognition of the number of parallel transmitted symbols.
