Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this tutorial presentation, we review current interactive services and PoC (Push to talk over Cellular) service as an IMS service example to study their commercial issues. Then we identify "interoperability" is the most key factor to spread IMS services. GSM Association specifies globally interoperable RCS (Rich Communication Suite) specifications and carries out their IOT under multivendor environment. First feature of RCSs are Enhanced Address Book, Contents/Video sharing call and Rich Messaging. In Japan, enhancements for such RCS specifications are made in TTC from Japanese market point of view. This presentation explains those activities and furthermore discusses necessity of network value-added services for service differentiation among operators on top of RCSs.
