Abstract(in English) We propose a load-balancing technique which could balance the load for estimating relative locations using WiPS (Wireless LAN based indoor Positioning System) with nodes participating in the network. The main idea of the technique is to employ a decentralized algorithm for the relative location estimation. In this paper, we report the evaluation for the impact of adopting the algorithm on the estimation performance. The results of simulation indicates that the probability of the distance error of 10m or more is suppressed to about 3%.
